Yeah, it's like she let her guard down a little here. In real life she was really a much warmer person, when she wasn't trying to project her diva persona. I wrote about that in this post:
I love her sense of humour about herself. I liked her transformation in the Orson Welles movie Touch of Evil. She always played the prostitute, but she brought dignity to those roles.

I love listening to Marlene Dietrich and watching her act, especially in her 1930s roles.
