Jack R said...: I've got Bolles paintings of girls in two-piece suits long before the 40s and I'll post some examples on my Bolles flickr page. You both are right about this being scandalous, Spicy Stories was shut down for a time and one of its editors was thrown in jail. No wonder Bolles never signed a single cover to this magazine.; 4:42 PM
